Development of the Nub Pics: A Visual Roadmap to a Healthy
Nub Post Surgery Week 6

These are some of the coolest pics to date.  These were taken about a week
after
my second surgery (The one to remove the external fixator).  Doc told
us we were not to open unwrap the nub until we came back to see him a
week after surgery.  So when we got it unwrapped this is what we found.
The brownish stretchy stuff covering the end of the Nub is the skin graph
they took off the outside of my leg (See bottom pics).  The cut it and
stretch it to cover what they need then staple the thing in place.  (More
staples to remove, see staple removal videos.)
These are of the skin graph area with my hand as a sizing guide.  The
bandage that is coming off of it was not removed as it was very still
attached to the graph spot and would have caused hemorrhage on a
massive scale.  (Translated: Would have hurt a lot.)
 Also notice how sexy
I look with the large bald patch on my leg.  Everyone wants one of those!!
